View Full Version : Can't get the Videos from 3dbuzz to play

I dowloaded WinRAR from the site 3dbuzz.com and downloaded some of their VT tutorials.
After I unpacked everything with WinRAR I tried playing the .avi file. When I clicked on it, Windows Media Player started playing. Everything seemed fine with a nifty intro and cool scenes. Then when it got to the tutorial though, the screen went blank! Am I using the wrong player? Is WinRar supposed to play it or what's the deal?

maybe you don't have the right codec for the videos or it is outdated??

That might be why...how do I check for the right codec? When you say outdated are you refering to my Windows Media Player?

Make sure you have the "Xvid" codec installed.

Wouldn't it make more sense to post this question at 3Dbuzz.com?

Download the VLC player at videolan.org

It works well on both my mac and pc.

I hope that helps.
