This is a sketch of a character from my comic-book project: MYRKHEIM, I am preparing a short (8 pages) episode to present it on an International Comics Festival in Poland ( october 2006 ) ( I dont know how to make this image visible, sorry. Here's the link

try uploading it to a different picture hosting site. I don't know if it's just me, but the link seems to lead to nowhere.

to make the image visible when you're posting, hit the yellow and grey button that looks like mountains and then put in the URL of the image (http://features.cgsociety.org/gallerycrits/223503/223503_1147694438_large.jpg)
as for the actual image, I quite like it, the orange glow is very good...but it's kind of hard to tell what it is? is it a bird?

Yes, I was thinking of Wergild as some sort of a raven-like character

nice i like this for some reason, it reminds me of a old folklore tail about the tolling of death, it needs some sort of background etc to give depth / location etc

the backgrouds bothers me as well. As soon I'l think of something I'l show the refreshed version. Thanks for comments and advice.

edit: here's a pic with a location and a sugestion that Wergild is a bird-like character
