Senior Cinematics Designer Wanted!
Starbreeze Studios is seeking a high profile Cinematics Designer to lead our team in Uppsala Sweden. It is crucial for the position that you have strong and proven communication and leadership skills. Your resume must reflect on your ability to solve problems and to build up the cinematic devision at Starbreeze Studios. We expect you to have an aggressive standard of excellence, persistence and drive.
You should have excellent lighting and render skills, strong knowledge of particle systems and environmental effects in Maya and to be able to use Maya Cloth to develop garments for characters. Preferably you have experience with Mel, rigid body and fluid simulations. The right candidate should have experience with technical trouble shooting, layout experience and a good sense of composition. The designer we are looking for has cinematography knowledge and is not foreign to camera rules. To have experience with digital post production tools is crucial.
It will be a big plus if you:
-have excellent skills in Modelling and Texturing,
-are a good Maya Cinematic Animator,
-have experience with MotionBuilder or Filmbox,
-have worked with motion capture,
-have experience with optical motion captures systems - preferable Motion Analyses
Systems,
-hold an EU Passport and
-have passion for Games.
Working for us you will find a studio with a positive drive for excellence and perfection. You will work together with artists with previous experience from major movies like Matrix or The Star Wars. You should not feel out of touch even if our studio is placed in the north of Europe.
Please respect that there is no time for "learning on the job" we have strong deadlines to keep and the person we hire will have to be up and running right from the start. Therefore it is important that only artists with at least 3+ years professional film production experience apply for the job!
