Hmm... I wonder if the Linux version will run on Mac under X11. Surely there's a beta tester around here that can answer that?

Yes it's a great shame that there's no Mac version. If the developers read this PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE consider an OSX version!

I would bet part of it is due to the fact that OSX just made the switch to Intel, and as yet do not have any intel production workstations. Not only is the programming environment perhaps a little shaky because of it (are they going to stick with intel this time?), but nobody is really going to be able to use it in a production sense quite yet.

Nice. Doubt they'll want a lowly student beta testing, but guess I can at least hope.

Agreed, no mac version is a huge downer. You could always use dual-Boot until such times..

As for me, I am signing up ASAP. I heard nothing (from what little I have heard on and off through the months) but good about this software...

Don't let the "i" in iMac fool you. It's a nice little powerhouse. Much better 3D experience than my G4.

I'm using a Universal version of Cinema 4D and it's quite a pleasant experience.

I would have to say no but I could be wrong

I thought I'd have a chance..being a kiwi,but sadly no luck

Hey! dont all get down about it. I got a reply! I`m neither well known or a studio! So if BigErn can get a reply, anyone can.. I think it might just be the amount of people wanting to test it could have destroyed their mail server

I`m only talking about the auto reply btw.. which took a couple of days to arrive. I havent had any confirmation emails or anything such like.......
