Hello Guyz,

Can you guyz please take a look at this picture and try to tell me how the general tone for this picture was attained...if you take a close look at this picture, it a has sort of golden-yellowish tone and I am very sure it was not the camera that gave it that effect...

That's just the color of light in the scene. All those candles and light bulbs give off yellow light. To make the lighting look more white, some cameras have a "white balance" function that analyzes how much of each color channel is in the image and compensates for the imbalance.

It might have some other color adjustment, which can be added in Photoshop in many ways. You can use several of the Image->Adjustments, like Levels, Curves, Color Balance. You can also create a color layer and set its blend mode to Multiply, Screen, Overlay, Color, or maybe some others. Then play with the opacity of the color layer to reduce the effect.
