Hi Guys
OK i've done a search and there are lots of blend shape questions, but I can't seem to find the advice I need in any of the answers, so...
Very basically, I want to blend a cube into a sphere.
In the file I'm working on right now, I've created a brand new polysphere and polycube. Sphere has 7 x 7 subdivisions (making 44 verts) and cube has 3 x 3 x 2 subdivisons (making 44 verts). so they have the same number of verts each, which, as far as I'm aware is all they need to be able to blend correctly.
however when one is made into the blend shape of the other (either way round) and the slider is moved up to 1 then the whole mesh completely deforms in a crazy way, goes out of scale and basically does not work.
i have a feeling it may be something to do with 'vert order'?, and that there is a way of correcting this.
could anyone helpful out there do a quick test setup with my above parameters to see what I mean, and explain the reasons behind this issue, and ways to solve it?
Thanks guys!
