Somehow I managed to get rid of all my menus in Maya 7. All except the File ---Help menu bar at the top. SO now I can't even see that slider bar for animation or anything else! IS there an easy way to reset the menus back to what they were when I first got Maya?
BTW, I just downloaded teh Personal Learning edition. that's what I'm using.

Also, I finally figured out how to batch render something but when I play it back using view sequence it's Waaaay slower than when I watched it play in the viewport. It say it's playing at 24 FPS and I only rendered 48 frames but it actually takes 4 sec to play! What's the deal?

hi...

go to the preferences (maybe over the hotbox if you cant access the menu) and then check the settings under Interface->Show menubar-> x In main Window

Also remember that pressing Ctrl + m and Shirt + m toggles the main and viewports menus.
Right clicking on a dotted bar like those on top ot the Tool box and besided the timeline will allow you to check uncheck individual UI elements.
