I just did a clean install of v.9->9.5->9.5.2->adv render 2.5->HAIR, and now I don't have Color Mapping.
Shouldn't this be part of 9.5? where did it go?

again I'll answer my own question:
since color mapping was an added feature of 9.5, but is only available w/ AR, it makes sense that AR should be installed BEFORE the 9.5 update.
