Hi Guys,

I have a problem  and I think the solution should be quite easy (I hope).

I have two polygons shown as two polygon nodes on the Object manager. These two polygons are not on the same node (or mesh).

When I try to weld the points of a corner of the two polys, my HUD tells me I STILL have 2 points after the weld command and NOT 1 point. Normally on the same mesh this becomes 1 points without issues.

I had modeled 2 meshes and I am trying to weld them across a series of points.

Cheers

you need to connect the 2 objects together before you can really weld the points.
( use the command Connect)

Whoa!

I love the speed!!

Thanks guys. I have downloaded the trial of 9.6 Studio demo to check out MoGraph. Cinema 4d rocks and I like the direction its taking is very good, especially the Vray4cinema4d. Its a debate we have goiing among us VFX guys in Kenya with Max guys saying Cinema4d is good for stills but not animation. I hope MOCCA will improve and AR3 will be flicker-proof (90% is good for me) in GI render mode as well.

May I assume Cinema 4D 10 is coming out around the Fall season, I hope to buy it then.

@ThirdEye - I saw the Toyota advert "YariSedan" you were involved in (at least I think it is you). Very nice indeed considering there was no GI. I will need to talk to you more on the pipeline for a thing like that.

Until then ... back to crawling around the Forum...

Cheers
