I couldn't get it to final gallery.
"Your submission has been declined for the following reason(s):
Hi there, Please include the photo reference which you used for your painting and resubmit your image"
I wonder if they asked Lunatique the same question they asking me everytime I'm trying to post in 2d :)

That's beautiful! The skin looks so..fresh! The highlights are just yummy. Well done!

They declined an image of mine with the same message too. I just resubmitted it with some of the intermediate steps and the reference (with another ref stuck on top because my friend was paranoid about her image being posted online) and sent them a message( because I was so bummed, haha). I think you should resubmit this one. It's a pity if only regulars in the sketchbook thread get to see this.

That's a very well executed tracing, I like it a lot! That color picker works wonders, doesn't it? The only problem I see are the finer hairs on her bangs and eyelashes could be softened and the camera's flash is too close and bright for my taste. It makes her face look too shiny and casts funny shadows on the neck/arm. Next time I would consider a better lighting setup. Good work!

Sorry, but it looks a BIT too photo based as some of your earlier work also.

It is not of my liking.

I have to admit that some very popular members actually also rely a little too much on photo - so it's not only you.

There are probably some who will JUST pass through because they are wellknown and popular which obviously you are not yet ....

My advice to you would be to try to make something completely from fantasy - not using ANY photo refs.
