An old piece, spruced back up. Inspired by a character in a book, a woman named summer, who tragically died, but stayed warm in her families hearts.

you have some proportion problems here. her arm looks much too short im relation to her head. also, the direction of light (above) would probably illuminate a little more of her form.

agreee with puddlefish about the arm...
it does look a bit short..like the hand though.

even though it's titled cold summer, just out of curiosity, does dat title have any significant meaning towards the work? coz i sorta expected a summer(?) look or feel painting.
