I tried opening some DV files that I had from last year. Premiere Pro says its 'unsupported or the file may be corrupt'. The files were fine before. I looked it up online and someone said try opening the files in virtual dub to see if the files are ok. I tried that and I can see the video fine.

Is Premiere missing the codec? Anyone else had this problem? :/

I have very little experience with Premiere Pro so I don't know what it could be within the program causing this, but are you sure the file is encoded in DV codec and not Divx or some other format? Also, rather than trying to open it in virtualDub, can you open it in Windows media player?
