Hi my scene is very fast... how can i "Slow motion" a movie on AE ?

before AE7 you can use only the time remap feature, but in the AE7 you can use the time remap or the new timewarp

u can also time-stretch the layer. for example it u put 50% value the layer will be played at half the speed.

Slow mo in after effects using the built-in options rarely turns out good. Your best best is Twixtor, a plugin for AE. Other than that, Final Cut Pro has a better algorythm for slow motion.

The Timewarp of AE 7 is a licensed version Furnace Kronos, is the "same class" (its use Optical flow) of Twixtor

I know a professional media group that tried achieving such effect and failed to achieve anything satisfactory. Therefore my guess is that "slow motion" re-creation is possible only to a certain extent of realism.

Also, try using sounds along with the video and slow down the sound along with the video, this may create a more complete feel to the effect.
