This is a quicktime movie, pretty small (less than a megabyte).

Very simple walk cycle along an S shaped path.

I've been staring at it for too long. I need you to rip it apart to absolute shreds. Please, no praise, just constructive scorn.

Thank you!

hehhe ok, Well to start with her head is abnormally steady and doesn't move.

The hips move slightly oddly, the weight shift seems to happen mid step, if she was moving faster I think she would.

Her shoulders too are just about still.
All in all she looks a bit stiff.

Looking forward to more,

Hey good comments, keep 'em coming! :)

Not to excuse my animation, but to explain, a couple comments. The reason the head appears to be abnormally still is because the model follows a simple path, and by the default, looks straight ahead. As the path curves, so does the direction of her stare, hence the mechanical appearance. This is a fault by design, if you will.

In reality, the head bobs slightly from side to side, with the shoulders (they move too, believe it or not). Just not as much as the hips.

I totally agree about the hips, not quite satisfied with them myself. Completely redid their entire motion once already, apparently not enough! :(
