Country: USA
Software: Maya, Photoshop

Hello everyone,

These are images from the short Encompass which I worked on. The environments were matte paintings which were done by using digital painting, photos and geometry. The city was done using maya which I modeled and textured for the shot. Each painting was painted at 2k wide. Thanks everyone for taking a look!

Inspirational work!

Great mood in all of them. Maybe in the city scape there could be a tad more fill light from the sky to make some building forms more readable.

Anyways, great stuff, keep it up man!

HamsterFly- GEEZ, thank you, I love your work man!

wilgory- HAHA! Thanks! I don't mind answering. from initial sketch each of the natural environments took me anywhere 25-30hrs and the cityscape took me about six- seven days because of the intensive modeling and texturing. Thanks man!!!

_MatteoM_- thank you, I've always enjoyed cave and glacier scenes, I've always wanted to do mattepainting of it, the ice was a pain to get right in certain places. Thanks again man!
