Hello people,

701 - Vyse-soa
700 - SamsonsReaper
699 - Audit
698 - Danielh, FridayEve, Lucavi & SamsonReaper. I can't decide (if only they were human!)
697 - Lucavi
696 - Audit
695 - SamsonsReaper

OK now I have to pick a sketch of the week amongst the great sketches we had on #698... I'd say FridayEve, but they all deserve it. Good job!

Bye.

Very well done everyone, arthurs week was a lot of fun :) I think lucavi's style was very fitting to the theme and he had some strong sketches all week.

I myself hope to participate in the DSG as soon as possible again.

awesome winners this week.

I hate to sound cynical, but is there any proof these were done in 20-30 minutes?
Some of them seem very finished and detailed for an apparent few minutes of work.

From the rules:

You have xx minutes to do your sketch. IF you go beyond the
assigned time limit , you have to post WHATEVER you have done after the time has
expired, along with the FINAL drawing.

Besides this is done for fun.

Lucavi ...reminds me a lot of Arthur Rackham actually
The flow, the composition, the colors... right down to the character design and cloth patterns is all Yoshitaka Amano.

I'm glad somebody recognized it as Amano. Lucavi, you have captured his style right down to the flow of brush strokes. And the checker and star patterns are a nice addition to the style. I don't really know how the voting thing works, but if anyone is to win anything, it should be you!

Thanks y’all. Yes, Rackham and Amano are two of my influences, as are Dulac and Yoshida, 2 pairs from the turn of the century and present day respectively, check them out when you have the time. You guys rock, I appreciate the kindness.
