am just starting out with character modelling and am seeking feedback and/or advice about modelling for animation.

attached is an image of my character mesh.

where should i add more polys to make him deform correctly when i get to the rigging and animation stage?

thanx. did it in 3dsmax5 using editable poly.

IMHO the part where the leg meets the body you need more loops around legs. Right now it's a star so it will have trouble bending. You may want to rethink his butt, too. Also try to keep other edges more in line with the organic shape. Feet and hands edges are way too straight. Shoulders are successful. Good start, nice shape overall.

Ya make sure the parts that bend (mouth, joints etc..) are quad poly's, cuz tri polys screw it up, like dvornik said.
