View Full Version : ISA - System Dutch Speaking Commercial.

Hellow friends,

Most of the Belgium secundairy schools orginise a kind of "mini compagny". That's a project where mostly only the last year students can take part of and is meant to be an introduction to the *real life*. The real business that is. Now I've made a small commercial for the product that we will *promote*. It's made in 3D Studio Max and I'd like to get some comment on it to see if I could maybe approve the hopefully small flaws ;)

Unfortunately it's only meant to be in the Dutch Language so I'll give you a small translation of what is said by the voice:

1) You earth citizen, did you know that by only standing on the earth's surface, you already have a speed of 1049 km/hour {alot of miles/hour ;)}
2) {After the bang} does it have to go faster?

For thoose that don't got the point yet, it's meant to be a speed-limiting campaign for cars ;)

Hehe did you upload the right movie? I didn't hear any text.. btw check the uvw map of the earth. You might also want to increase the lighting contrast.

Another strange thing that happened to me while downloading your file was the fact that I downloaded more then 125% of your file :s

Oh and the file was 1.25 MB... Are you sure it's correct?

Dammit I seem to fail putting a simple file on the net :buttrock:

Maybe you've started the download while I was still uploading and therefor gave you a wrong impression of the size (could explain the 125% and the small size)

I've downloaded it now myself to check it and if I can trust my own eyes then it's safe to download :)

well........

drop the lensflares, the "star" in the back isn't "lighting the earth's surface, the mapping on the earth needs work(at africa I believe) and it needs a athmosphere(serperate from the earth sphere) . and the brown planet+ earth is moving a tad fast.



thats about it!

thx, the thought of an atmosphere is really good :)

I'm just a beginner in 3ds certainly in mapping, I just looked up an earth map and took it. I don't really know how to set thoose things correctely...

The 'brown planet' is supposed to be the moon ;)

anyway it's not the best thing I've made in 3ds but certainly thx for the ideas!
