View Full Version : bevelling adds unwanted edges
erwin1978 01-06-2003, 08:15 PM When I bevel it adds unnecessary edges. Is this avoidable?

Also, I sometimes have to triangulate an object before bevelling works; is there a workaround this? I just want to do a local bevel and end up with a distorted shape that.

I HATE Maya's bevel tool, hate hate hate! Maybe there's a better replacement at highend3d? I usually just 'manually' bevel everything myself.

Cool, more Bevel Tool haters! I suggest you go here...

These edges are there whether you see them or not, regardless of the bevel tool you use. If they really bother you, there's a tool at highend for merging faces together
