2d artist wanted!

Factor 5, The company behind such titles as Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine, Battle for Naboo, and the Rogue Leader franchise, is looking for a full time texture artist asap!

who we are interested in:
A 2d artist with strong traditional art background, industry experience prefered but not required if you're good enough. Photoshop skills are a must, and a familiarity with Maya is definitely a plus.

responsabilties include uv mapping, characater texturing, environment texturing ( lots of skies, terrain, etc) as well as interiors. Concepts skills are a plus in the long run, but you'll mostly be doing textures to start out...

For those of you who are not familiar with us, check out our website : www.factor5.com

we are very much an international company and are experienced handling visa issues. We are a smaller company with about 30 people or so from all around the world, and if you have the right stuff, we are willing to ship you here to sunny San fransisco, California.

you can contact me with questions, links, portfolio issues, etc at:

HI there,

I just wanted to thank everyone for the great response we got from you. I saw alot of great work from you guys, and it's a shame I don't have the power to bring more of you on board.

Currently we're narrowing down the applications that we've gotten already, and will maek our decision soon. In the event that none of the applicants meets our needs, I will put an updated request back on the boards.

again, thanks for all the great work..

jim

ok kids,

We've found our candidates. It was a tough decision to make and we saw a lot of great work. Thanks again. To the people who's emails I have not responded to yet, I apologize but things are a little crazy here at the moment but I will try my best to give you some feedback on your work soon.

to magic pen: Although mother-lovin is an essential part of a texture artist's duties, equally important is a strong background in art and comprehensive grasp of paint and 3d apps. You're off to a good start though...keep at it.

Stefana: possibly..we'll be in touch later on...

Manley: For the last time, GET OUT OF BOSTON YOU'RE JINXING THE CELTICS!!!!!
gimmee a call you bastard..or gimme your number at least...
