* One detail, seems like there's something wrong with the guy's hand (I'm talking about the drawing or inking and not the coloring!), considering the character pose, looks like the hand holding the gun should be the left one (with the right harm on the background) but the left fingers are in "reverse mode"!

Look closer... the left hand is holding the gun with the fingers from the right bent over, grasping the left.

As for coloring, well done.

Dont particularly like the laser being seen(as light can only be seen when passed through a medium, such as dust or something.)

Otherwise its very nice coloring.

I like the style. Regarding that shoulder misunderstanding, since it is his right shoulder it should be in a shadow judging by the direction of the light, which is why it looks like it's his left, because it looks closer to us.
But still, I wish i had a high school teacher like you. Do you make the students do this kind of stuff for homework? That would be awesome.
