Hi everyone,
This is my first 3d model and it was created for my level 1 3d modeling class. It was created using 3dsMax 4.2 but unfortunatly I haven't yet been taught to pose or animate my character or texture it for that matter but my instructor suggested I get it out there for some constructive critisizm, so here it is... Hope you like it, thnx

(Hehe, guess i shoulda named him something other than dark knight. Seems like everyone thinks its batman) :p

hehe, that's nice of you to say, but this is truely the first organic model I've ever made. It was made from a box modeling technique my teacher showed us and I used 2 2d drawings I did as my outline. I did make a low poly hummer in the class and an art museum but this is the only organic model I've ever made.

what's a collegue model, and i havent learned much anything about lights so my teacher showed how to just use skylights.
Should I maybe just brighten the skylights?

Add a directional light to simulate sunlight, set the multiplier to something around 0.7 and shadowdensity to something like 0,5 - 0,8.

but if u don't know how to do this (whish I don't understand, if u can make such models....) just up the skylight to something like 1.2 (and use a brighter color)

I too go to an Ai school. AiPD here in Portland, OR. Very very nice model. You definately have the talent. I have been using 3D apps since RayDream in my 7th grade year... and I still cant create characters like that. Im not really a character guy, more of a prop guy.
