Hey everyone,

Hope all is well and the sun is shining

This is a piece that I have started in painter(my first proper image in the program), was hoping for some feedback so far. Have been working on the head and neck and am about to move onto the rest of the body. Finding it hard to get the skin tone just right, have spent ages tweaking but not sure I am using the right palette. Wanted the neck to seem muscular so happy with that but any tone suggestions for the face would be great Have plans for the background and the rest of the image but need to be happy with this bit first. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Hope all is well with you too!
There are some serious anatomy problems. When doing a pose you arenīt sure of, or just painting anything you are not sure of how it looks like, the best thing to do is observe from life (if you can) and/or find other reference.

I just typed: "man reaching" in www.google.com (http://www.google.com) image search and found many pictures, for example this:

There are also forums here on cgtalk that can help you with anatomy.

Itīs also kind of messy right now. Working on a toned background is better. I think that you should clean up the sketch and work out the anatomy problems before you start coloring it.
A tip, itīs good to start with a stick figure to get the proportions right.

Keep working on it, iīm sure it will turn out great!

Will take that on board and resketch the pose. Should really be working from reference.

Have started to detail the body and think the piece is going in the right direction. Need help with the skin tones, for this piece I dont want realistic colouring but for future reference would love some advice.
