Title: Living room interior
Name: Andre Ferwerda
Country: Netherlands
Software: 3ds max, Photoshop, VRay
Another interior work from me. For this piece I got 1 day from my boss to complete including rendering high resolution. I used some models that I made before and created some new ones. Hope you like it. C&C are as always very welcome!
I used 3D studio max and vray render and did a little post production in Photoshop.
Greetings,
André Ferwerda

It's a realy good work man..:). Although i've got a feeling that you can improve your lighting.
It will seem more realistic. What do you say?

nice work!
2 minor things: the 4 plants are identical - makes it look a bit to artificial, and maybe the dark wood is a bit to dark

I agree on the plants I will change them before I put them on my portfolio list :D

Great work man... One thing I would change is the furniture. I have to model alot of custom furniture at work...and one thing my boss looks for is the cushions need to be relaxed and soft. Your cushions look very rigid.... That would help alot..

Thnx for the comments.
@Slangford. I totaly agree on the furniture. I modelled them myself but didn't have time to make them better I will for the image I want to put in my portfolio tough.

Hey, great work on modeling, texturing and lighting. As Seralios mentioned, your lighting might need a slightly improvement, but it fits the needs of this scene

Nice looking render! :D
A few things caught my eye:
* Texture stretching on the legs of the table.
* The fridge seems to be a bit too big? Perhaps it is the angle of the camera? Or it is suppose to be a HUGE fridge! :D
* The cushions do seem rather ridged (already mentioned)
* The wood floor - where the slats meet ... it seems a bit too deep.
* On the wood floor as well the slats line up a bit too much (lower left corner example). This makes it look a bit artificial - houses Ive been in dont line floors like that (that I have seen).
* Not a biggie but ... the handles on the fridge look like they would be awkward to use? 0_o ... not a biggie tho. :P
I love the lighting. However, there aren't any lamps or recessed lighting in the ceiling ... it will get mighty dark in there at night. ;)
This makes me wanna model. :D
Good crits above! This pic is really quite amazing for 1 day to create! ANd that within itself is impressive! keep it up! later

I like it mate. With all the minor problems and for only one day working with a tight deadline I think is really good. Btw, nice portofolio.
