In the past I've had a problem with biting off more than I can chew, getting bored and spitting it out when it comes to pet projects.

So in an effort to finish something completely for the first time I thought I'd do a micro-short. Something less than 10 seconds long, but challenging enough that I'll learn something from the experience.

The idea with the microshort is really about a kind of visual haiku. I'm much more concerned with conveying a quick impression than I am an involved story (which is where in the past I used to get too hung up). So they probably won't ever make front page, but that's not my intent. I need to grow as an artist, and I can't do that until I start finishing what I start.

The storyboards below are for the first of these (hopefully many) micro-shorts. I'd really like to hear what people (especially those who know what they're talking about) have to say. Crits and comments always welcome.

I think its a great concept for a micro-short.
Quick, simple, to the point, no complex environments, etc.

Thanks for the feedback DivideByZero. I'm working on an animatic now.
