Well done..very unique and good use of colors. Also very moody.
Looks like a traditional painting. I like it:thumbsup:

Just one crit: Work on the backround. The color is fine, but the sketchy look isn´t. Maybe softer blendings of the colors to get also that acrylic-oily look like the portrait has.

I've realized that it's wise to start real simple, just some quick lines untill the proportions are right, then refining in steps, and I used very few colors to begin with, I created my own palette in PS with 5 or 6 colors. I bought a Wacom tablet a couple of months ago and that has really helped me a lot!
