View Full Version : Help with alpha channels !
Darko11 05-09-2006, 12:32 AM I'm new to compositing, and feel sorta silly asking this, but I'm rendering out a simple revolving model animation in Maya as tiffs, with alpha channel turned out. My question is how do I make sure there is an alpha channel set after I export the frame sequence as a .mov from adobe premiere. Thanks and I hope that makes sense!

You have to use a codec that supports an alpha, not all do. A quicktime for example has an option for "Millions of Colors +". The "+" is support for an alpha.
