What does it do? I tried LW and it's tool names are a total mistery.

From what I recall, it's basically a multi-cut/connect edges tool, but with more precise control of how the cuts are spaced. I recall that someone was developing a script like that, but I haven't heard of it being completed yet.

bandsaw is actually a really helpful tool , it's like a slice but intelligent enough to 'follow' the polygons instead of just a straight cut -

Yeah Matt is right, the closest thing to Bandsaw that I have seen is in meshtools!:thumbsup:

Have you guys tried the NEW slice tool in Max 5? It's pretty much what you're asking for.

It's called...like, smart slice or something...can't remember.

Have a look if you have R5.
