Hi. I am new here. I used to do decorative painting on wood, and a little bit of digital painting (florals). I am now attempting to breakthrough and learn new things. Close up of my son with his ever present headphones :-) The painting disturbs me when I look at it from far(finding it rather ugly) yet when I get up close, the beauty of his face seems to break though. This wasn't intended but seems to really fit the mood. Would love feedback.

That's so cute, drawing your son like that! :) I think the colours are really good, quite moodish. He does have this cheeky gaze I would have to my mom lol. Very nice.
