View Full Version : Problem with Cinema preset expression
manlio 05-08-2006, 10:49 AM Hi to everybody. I have used the expression called speedcontrol that can be found from the content browser in Presets>9.521 Addons>Expressions>Examples
The problem is that in the viewport everything is fine but when you render or make a preview the sphere doesn't move. I'm quite sure the problem is in the coffee node in the xpresso. it seems that Cinema can't make a duplicate of the scene when try to render.
The only way to make things working is to bake the object, but I don't want to do this.
Thanks for any suggestion.

Hello,
sorry, that was my fault. I created the expression and forgot that you can't access the render document using GetActiveDocument()...
Here you can download a fixed version of the expression - unfortunately it was too late for the coming R9.6:

Thanks Marcus, for the very quick reply and solution!
I'll try as soon as possible.
With the occasion, I wanna ask you another little thing. I added a simple separate xpresso for controlling baking for a bike, but when I was going forward and backward, the synchronization in the curve was different and so the bike was banking in the wrong place. Can be this an expression priority problem? At his moment I'm not in the office so I can't send the file.
Thanks in advance

Yes, that sounds possible. Just give your expression a lower priority (i.e. a higher number in the priority field) than SpeedControl.
