hi there,

a very general question that all the people would like to know but don't know the answer nor where to ask:

in the gaming industry, is one loop animation (run cycle) valued as much as, let's say, two seconds in the movie industry - what is the value of 2secs anyhow:-)))? never done anything for games yet have been just recently asked to animate for one gaming company ... so my standart question: how much, righ?:-)

What fps did they tell you to animate on?

we used 24fps , so 2 secs = 48 frames.

no specification yet. said that would follow if I can accept (though another thing is I have maya and they have 3DS ..uff} ... they just ask if I'm interested, told me they need run cycle and what I ask for it ....
