Sorry for the next introduction paragraph, but I think I need to explain a bit about my background and motivation behind this work.

My first 'real' attempt in 3D world. Considering myself as fluent graphic design student, I never fancy CG stuffs until I was amazed by works at CGtalk last week. I then couldn't help myself but to learn more about CG, especially the 3D stuffs since I had no 3D skills at all.

Based on my previous character, Shinoske, I make this dinosaur-alike creature in similar style so that he can be in the same character family.
The dinosaur influence pretty much came from my childhood being a huge dinosaur maniac.
I dedicate this especially to my beloved parents :)

Any comments and critiques welcomed :)
ps: the shadow on ground looks very weird because I did that manually on photoshop :/

A further work with my Pinosorus. I added a seat on his back for people to ride as he'll be one of the animal taxi in my Half-Heaven fantasy park

I can give a suggestion to you? Its image makes fire all leaving its body... goes to be more interesting still!

Limponi: Thanks! :) Yes I know I still need to revise a few things, such as his legs (toes), the seat (I'll change it to look more like sport car seat so it's more obvious), and the date (it's dated 2005, should've been 2006!! :P)

Later I'll also try to make background and add other components so that it's really completed as an artwork instead of 'still 3d model'

Ligia MB: Thanks for the idea, but how to do that? Honestly I think I don't have skills to do that :(

KaaZoo: LOL! I haven't even thought about his sound, hahaha.. thx! :)

What?? You can create something like this in just less than a week learning? Really look forward to fantastic stuffs from you in the future!!

I love it, except the seat, which to me doesn't look like anything. It brings down the whole piece and concept. Other than that, beautiful!! *what about adding a tongue? :P

Oh ya, can you please make a set of these pinosorus-taxi? 1 running, 1 swimming, 1 flying :D

I think it looks amazing as one's first attempt, especially for one with no 3D background at all.
I would recommend you putting him into a scene, doing something / interacting with other characters (friends / enemy) so that the whole picture tells something instead of 'still 3d model' sitting there doing nothing.
It would also make your work complete as CG piece of art, then at last don't forget to add some final touches with photoshop, lol.

Wonderful job!!
