hi guys, i'm a noob to maya, so i'm sorry if this is a really silly simple question.

i dont know if i clicked something wrong or the program is bugging.

the xyz handels in all but the the perspective view is missing. like with the move, rotate and scale, the little cone at the end doesn't appear. can anyone help me?

Perhaps you're in pivot edit mode? Hit the insert key and see if that fixes things. If it doesn't, hit insert again because you don't want to play around with the pivot :D

ah i tried that, that wasn't it , anymore ideas??
