"A Fistfull of Pixie Dust"

This was done in ZBrush 1.51.

The main body/head was made from a ZSphere model that I had lying around for a while, but haven't done with anything yet until now.

After skinning the ZSphere model additional details were added with symmetrical modelling on the head and mask/inflate on other parts of the model. After placing the model on the scene more details were added by placing additional objects on the model.

The laser/pistols or whatever or modelled from ZSpheres as well.

The wings were modelled from a disc3d using symmetrical modelling.

For the clouds I made a crescent alpha and then painted that using a couple of different shades of orange/light yellow using the spraybrush stroke.

Next steps will involve adding some wrinkles/seams to the clothing, adding color/materials to the figure and adding more vegetation to the background.

C&C welcome.

Here are a couple of updates.

With the first picture:

After playing around the the colors and materials I finally settled on a material/color set up that I liked.

The transparency on the wings was done by using the Clone Brush with layer's mode set to "on" and "shaded" and "retain center" turned off. I copied and baked the rock layer and kept the sky layer turned on, so the shading on the rocks would come through when using the clone brush on the wings.

There are a couple of areas that I still needed to smooth out a little using the blur brush and there are still more details I need to add such as eyes and eyebrows, wrinkles and seams on the clothing, some additional vegetation and a couple other details.

The next update:

I'm getting close to being done with this.

I added eyes and hair. The hair was made from tapered half-toruses. I also added some vegetation. The grass was done by using the fiber brush in conjunction with the grass texture available in the texture pallette (a trick I learned from Mentat7 btw :) ). Also wrinkles and seams were added using the layer brush for the seams and the simple brush for the wrinkles. Plus I cleaned up a couple of "problem areas" such as the gold parts on top of the boots.

Next major thing I want to do is add some detail to the wings, plus a few other minor touch-up things, like working on a better material for the fingernails and adding more detail to the hands, etc.

As always, comments and critique welcome.
