View Full Version : Multiple oblique projection(perspective)
vlad74 05-07-2006, 04:46 PM Hello guy.
Can you tell me if there is a way in xsi to simulate Multiple oblique perspective?
That's what I mean.

And the movie.

I tried all the views available in xsi but I couldnt get that look.
Thank you in advance.

That's highly experimental... I'd be very surprised to see any commercial app with such a feature built in. You could probably fake it pretty effectively in XSI using a lattice deformation tied to camera motion via expressions though.

The problem with the xsi camera is that you can only shift the pictureplane in XY. I wonder how difficult it would be to make a camera where you could actually position the pictureplane as desired? Or even better modelling it yourself. I would love to see that!

Thanks JDex. Really good advice but I am not that experienced with expressions and stuff. You are right that it is highly experimental. I will probably have to play a lot.
Tarkovsky - thanks.

Any other suggestions? Or it is impossible in xsi.
