I am having difficulty understanding how, using Maya, I can make and use multiple uv maps for a number of different objects in a scene. What has happened to me when I have attempted this is that each map I make stacks on top of the previous map in the 0-1 space and I'm not sure how to do it correctly.
I would also like to get a better understanding how, when placing a number of seperate mapped sections, (such as I have seen in maps where feet, faces etc are seperate pieces) these pieces appear on the actual mapped surfaces in the correct placement.
I would appreciate any clearly stated explaination of the process.
Thanks!
