694 NO TIME LIMIT: "George Lucas VS. Peter Jackson" (http://showthread.php?t=352020): KDW - love the humor and story in this (though Nard's had really great charicatures!)
693 THE 25 MINUTE SKETCH: "DR WHO" (http://showthread.php?t=351698): FridayEve's portrait is well-done and it's the Dr. Who I am most familiar with (Alice's monster had wonderful texturing though, didn't it?).
692 SKETCH: NO TIME LIMIT "Self portrait from the 18th century" (http://showthread.php?t=351349): khanumnaow - hee hee.
691 THE 30 MINUTE SKETCH: "Illustrate this Poem" (READ RULES) (http://showthread.php?t=351011): Vyse_soa
690 THE 35 MINUTE SKETCH: "RED DRAGON" (http://showthread.php?t=350632): tie between alfonsoperalta and bumskee. Too many good ones in this one!
689 THE 15 MINUTE SKETCH: "The Day of the Dragon Slayer" (http://showthread.php?t=350230): Alfonso's (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showpost.php?p=3491389&postcount=59)! Definitely. Remarkable.

Fastest draw - Alfonsperalta's Dragon Slayer
Sotw - Her0d's first day on the job.

694 : Alice (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showpost.php?p=3504365&postcount=15)
Several very nice sketches here, but I had to go for this one. The simple portrait holds so much history, questions and magic. A good concept thats just beutifully executed. One of the nicest pictures of the week.
693 : FridayEve (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showpost.php?p=3500701&postcount=18)
I couldn't find a favorite one here, but this is the one that ranks highest on my "true to the subject" vs quality scale. A default portrait, but implemented pretty ok for 35 minutes.
692 : Vizon (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showpost.php?p=3498923&postcount=11)
Ah....wonderfully humorous and a pleasent texture / finish. Good job!
691 : Vyse_soa (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showpost.php?p=3496746&postcount=23)
Although it was 5 minutes more than the set time, I feel that this one reflects the poem the best, if you take into account concept and feeling and at the same time it's very nicely implemented.
690 : lucavi (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showpost.php?p=3492346&postcount=41)
A wonderful picture that you'd expect to find in an ancient book of magical fauna. The finish is just plain lovely. While bumskee's dragon here is still nice, the composition has lost alot and the yellow/orange/red gives off too much fantasy poster impression. Also, Vahn was high on the list for this one.
689 : bumskee (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showpost.php?p=3488777&postcount=41)
I'm a sucker for the humorus, but that fancy of mine faded away when I saw bumskees sketch for this one. Good composition and an awsome mood. This rocks.
688 : Her0d (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showpost.php?p=3484110&postcount=5)
Good idea and very nicely implemented in 20 minutes.

I kinda missed that part about fastest draw and skech of the week when I read the instructions before skimming everything, but from what I can see and remember;

Sketch of the Week: 692 : Vizon (http://member.php/?u=117071) This was just brilliant!
Level up award: As I'm fairly new here I ain't a good judge so; no vote.
Fastest Draw: 689 : bumskee (http://showpost.php?p=3488777&postcount=41) Great job! You maxed the mood per minute scale!

hope im not too annoying when i point out the dress of the 18th century selfportrait is a renaissance dress..and as such from the 15th or 16th century

she could well be:)

i took the liberty of doing a bit of research on the image, its presumably painted in the 18th century and, again presumably, depicts queen elizabeth I of england, who lived from 1533-1603.

guess you all needed to know that :):) !!

hehe..sorry again...european history and what follows is of great interest to me..

Sorry my ignorance of historical fashion shows. Guess that goes to prove you just can't trust google to be historically accurate ;) Heh heh heh.

Well maybe google isn't so wrong after all. Still, I will have to be sure to be more accurate in future endeavors.

And thanks Alice!

First, i tought that there is Queen Elizabeth at the sketch. It's really the best one.

If you plan more "specialized" content in the sketching, i have some nice character pictures.
Btw. Do you have contact to Hustler. I need to talk with Flynt's team :).
