I'm working on a concept that is sort of like a music video and I sure could use your help.

Remember how in Mario 64, when you find his flying hat, how exhillerating it was to make him bank and loop and plummet, then rise up and stall, then plummet again to gain speed?

What sort of experiences in video games or otherwise have you had that are of a sort like "I'm doing this really wild activity where I'm ______ and it feels so ______ because ______".

Please fill in the blanks. Thanks for your help.

Not sure if this is what you want, because it's not old school like Mario.

Battlefield 2
"I'm doing this really wild activity where I'm flying a fighter jet really low over my teammates as I support them and it feels so @#$!ing awsome because of the speed and sound of the engines".

S'truth, brother! That's exactly the sort of stuff I'm looking for. Doesn't even have to be video game specific, any sort of freakin' excellent activity will do - dreams, bits from movies, whatever.

More, more!

Or how about this one, the bit in the game "Pariah" when you're in the gunner seat while Katrina drives.

It's pretty exhilerating because you feel the speed, and the bumpiness of the terrain, and can see the enemy vehicles chasing you, so there's a will to escape. There's a certain level of comfort because you feel that you're not fighting through an impossible mission all on your own but part of a team, that there's someone there to back you up, to catch your fall. There's also a feeling of invincibility from the incoming missiles and vehicles (cause they are easy to outrun), and a sense of power because of the weapons you have at your fingertips, charged and ready to blast the enemy into glorious bursts of flame.
