Greets. I'm working on my first major LW scene and was wondering if you guys could give me some suggestions. I'm going for a realistic look.

I'm thinking the lighting and textures have to be tweaked... Something looks strange about the spots on the sharks...

The final scene will have a whole hoard of the suckers, but I wanted to put in a tentative small group just to give some perspective.

Now that I'm looking at it, some fog would be good too... Something just seems to be missing. Any suggestions?

i cant really see anything. maybe add some light.

its nearly pitch black on my screen... I see a triangle of green at the top and thats it.

Lighten it up a bit and add some more details to the water...as in bubbles..seaweed ect..just a thought:thumbsup:

I'm gonna tweak with the lighting and arrange the fishies as they're gonna be in the final picture.

Detail would be a good idea...

Not sure why it's pitch black over there, MrPunkin. I know it's pretty dark, but didn't think it was like that :hmm:

Here's a lighter version with what will probably be the final position for the sharks. I'd like to achieve one of those foggy, dark pictures like you see in National Geographics, etc (I've been using various pictures from the internet for inspiration).

Still gotta do good textures and bubbles, and close their mouths. I'm not sure if the light rays shining through the water are realistic or not, and so I'm trying to tackle that sort of thing first.

I was very proud of myself for making a decent shark model. Then I remembered everything else that goes into a good scene :surprised

I would add some caustic effects on the sharks' backs and maybe touch up their texturing a bit, possibly some light rays coming thrut he water a bit
