I figured there might be some extra licenses of BP around from people getting an extra copy with the Studio bundle. If so I'd be interested in buying one for a reasonable price. You can contact me off-list at nehemia2001@yahoo.com. Will also consider a straight-up trade for Messiah:Animate 3.3.

"That Adrian Guy" I believe, was the one selling it. I almost bought it but had to change my plans. Do a search?

I'd also like to purchase Body paint as well. But I won't get into a bidding war with Adam for one...I'll pay reasonable prices. Hmmm the question is, what is reasonable...

There must be heaps of copies floating around I would think.

Last time I talked to a friend he had a copy, and had not sold it,its in New Zealand though, that could be a pain in the ass for you guys with shipping and stuff?

Try postforum as well guys I am sure heaps of copies will pop up for yas,and probably in your own countries.

I tell you what if you cant find copies I will talk to my friend, but I dont want to see a wedge driven between you guys because there is only one copy to be had.

Thanks Kiwi,
I just responded to both. The first post is pretty old, so I suspect it's done, but the second is fairly recent.

Question is that if you upgraded, you're not allowed to sell your former version without having to uninstall your own BP and transfer the license to the buyer. Or am I wrong here?

No you're right. But I was thinking there may be some people upgrading from regular XL7 + Bodypaint to XL8 Studio, which comes with *another* Bodypaint license. In that case you'd wind up with one copy of Cinema and two copies of BP.

Anyways, thanks for all the suggestions. I found a seller so I should be Bodypainting in the next week or two.

Kiwi,
Thanks for the pre-tip. ;) I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions once I get up and running. But it's got to be better than what I've been doing, which is to export models as .obj, import into trueSpace and map using the (excellent) u/v Cow plugin, export as .3ds, import into Painter3D (because it's wonky with .obj files), rework in PS, export the UV'd .obj file from tS and bring back into Cinema for texturing/rendering. Yikes!
