View Full Version : UVpoints outside the grid

after cylindrical unwrapping my head, i got some points outside my uvmap...of wich i wish they'd be inside...haven't found a method in the LW manual nor on the tuts i was browsing....anyone got the clue with this?

Yup, these technically aren't a problem, since they are actually just wrapping around... however, the bug the hell out of me because I can;t stand seeing those lines outside the grid.
So all you do, is first unweld all your points (CTRL+u) and then select all the poyls in the UV map, and just shrink them using the size tool (H) until they fit inside the grid :D
Then remerge your points (m).
And voila! A UV map inside the grid :thumbsup:

Hey, don't stress about this! It's really not something worth stressing about, since there is always a solution :)
