Title: Carte Blanche Cast
Name: Jonathan Lessard
Country: Canada
Software: 3ds max, Photoshop
This is a picture of the whole cast of characters I have modeled for our independant adventure game "Carte Blanche". The work is far from perfect (because of the production conditions, I only had around a day for each of them) but I find some of them pretty funny.
Credits go to Simon Chénier for most of the initial concept art.
Hope you enjoy it!

Looks great man. Just wondering, how long did you work on this for? I feel for you on the modeling and textures, must have taken awhile.

Content de voir que ta a enfin fini la création de tes personnages. J'ai hâte de voir le jeu final.
Lâche pas. Tu viendra faire ton tour au Campus si tu as une chance ;).

Thanks everyone!
The game is almost ready and should be available in two or three months... You can get a glimpse of it here : www.absurdus.net/carteblanche
Because of the time restrictions, I designed a very quick workflow of simple box modeling with meshsmooth, basic uv mapping (mainly with cylinders and planes), and then patching up quick textures from old black and white pictures and try to hide the seams. And also, a lot of mesh recuperation!
They don't look too bad like that, but the closer you get, the more obvious the defects!
Eric, à quand ta première soumission?
Cheers!
Jonathan
