View Full Version : Network technology query

Hi guys.

I have two PCs in my room which I want to connect in a network. My best PC has a Realtek RTL8139 Ethernet Card and the other PC has an ADMtek AN983 card.

Not sure what to do next. I think all I need now is a Network hub or router?, but does this has to be a certain brand/model or will anyone do?

Please help.

thanx nafa that helps. i think because im only connecting two PCs I can just use a Crossover cable. Will look into that.

You can buy a switch for the future. Also do you have internet? You run the router and connect the two pc's to the router and you can file share and get on the net.
