Just thought I would post this here since these characters were first started for the master and servant comp. I finally made a background to hold them together, however, I kept the Knight seperate.

i love the angel-death scene.
with an environment more like in your concept and a dramatical lighting it would be gorgeous.
to bad that you havent finished it for the contest.

the only really ugly thing that attracts my attention is the opacity on the angelīs hair. hair doesnt fade out. hair falls down in strands which become thinner.....

yeah really awesome work. The Knight reminds me a bit of the Arthas form Warcraft 3. But my favorite one of them is the death he has the most expression imo. On the other side one small thing to criticise think the angel lacks a bit of expression in her face, it looks a bit too neutral to me.

wow ! ._O . you use sheets or use individual textures in a multi-sub with ID's and tile them on selected faces ?! plz show textures of this walls.

I was watching this one come along in its WIP when you were working on it and I was glad to see it on your site a few months back- BTW, what happened to your site? your charater work is among the most inspiring low poly work I have ever seen- you should put your site back up so I can thumb thru it again :)

Here are the wire frames for these three characters. The Angel weighs in at 5000 polygons. Death equals 3000, and the Knight weighs in at another 5000 (give or take a few polygons depending on equipment). About the expressions, when I started this image, I knew she would be seen from far, so I did not pay much attention to her facial expressions. I concentrated more on the unison of the entire piece rather then on the individuals characters, However, next time, I will be sure to go into the details of the face:)

That is just awsome, I dont get how you can plan for all those alpha maps on that death m0del. Do you just randomly place the planes, or do you actually go in there with some sort of plan of attack?

That concept art is stunningly beautiful. Fantastic work. I like the models as well, but for some reason that concept art just stuns me.

Beautiful. Front-page-worthiness abounds.
