Hey Lambert, i don't know if you realise this.. but your sail ship is actually sitting to high out the water... at the mo it looks like it could topple over at any second
the water should come up to the white border on the hull
apart from that, it's a nice design, well implemented and well modelled :thumbsup:

I have to agree. At first it almost looked like it was floating in the air. Another thing I notice was the lighting you have shadows going 2 different directions. In your background image the sun seems to be coming from the right but on your sails the shadows are casting to the right. Just look at the buildings behind the ship and the shadows then look at thes shadow on sails.
Over all nice piece. Keep up the good work.

agree with the above. Also the rendered ship is too clear compare to the background. Add another layer of grey, lower the contrast for the ship in photoshop.
looking at the reflective shadow or reflection in the water. it is too soft, too gaussian blur. I'd rather to use disdortion for that.

he's/she's better off making an actual nice scene for that nice looking ship :) and if you did make the ship why not put a little more effort into making a scene for it anyways :bounce:
