Hi! After a long time of abstinence i began to work again on a female project i started long time ago. It is a completly new model modeled after a reference. I created it just for training myself and i am not sure in which direction i am going, but we will see. Progress will be slow, since i am only working in my spare time and only for 1-2 hours when possible. And since i am an absolute newbie in antonomy i will have some difficulties in creating the body.

Here is what i have started so far:

Head: Eyes texture are not final. A slight asymmetrie of the nostrils, nose and ears is intended but be will be worked out and get more smoother.

Here you can see a quick setup of hair, brows etc. All textures are just for test purposes. Perhaps it helps to show in which direction i want to go. Hair will be planes, since i want to keep rendertimes low.

well, there's not much to criticize here. it's looking really good so far. just a couple little things that bug me though, are some of the shapes on cheek/jaw. it's almost like she's got a couple little indentations under her cheekbone, and right above the jawline, she has a little protrusion that creates a shadow there. i don't know if those are accurate to the reference, but they kind of bug me.

Was busy, so i wasnīt able to work on her. Didnīt modify the head, but just started a quick test for the hair and some accesories. I think it shows in which direction i want to go (with the hair) . Textures are not final for the hair. The opacity maps are very hard to create for me. Donīt get what i want.

I think i know what u mean! The shadows at the side of the jaw? But that is wanted. Looks strange i know but was intended. Perhaps when the head is textured it is starting to look right. Jup was on the reference. But I will make some changes in that area anyway!

Aha, it looked pretty much spot on in the first posts, but now that you showed a side view you can see the chin needs to point forwards more, right now it's too flat. Nice face though.
Keep it up!
