Hello everyone,

I'm not really a cinema user so please bear with me if I'm asking something stupid.
I'm trying to get comfortable with the navigation and encountered a little problem.
I use a wacom tablet for all of my work (absolute projection) but unfortunately the navigation in cinema is very slow (not slow like on a slow computer but slow like a "slow mouse"). It's about a third of the speed like maya and it takes me some time to tumble an object around :)

in preferences I ticked:
x - Scheme: Maja
x - Graphic Tablet
x - Reverse Orbit

hoping for help... many thanks!

Have you tried disabling the "tablet" option. You should also enable "High res coordinates" for using a tablet. That's the settings I have for my Intuos 3 tablet. No problems for me.

thanks 3dKiwi,

hmmm, weird.
disabling tablet-mode doesnt work at all - the camera rotation will freak out when I tumble around - not workable.

And the high res coordinates option doesnt seem to have an apparent effect on my side...

thanks anyway

ps: I also have two screens

Quick tip:
If you're using a tablet, you should definitely install this handy script with button to dock somewhere in your workspace:

Without it, switching in and out of tablet mode via the preferences becomes a hassle.
