View Full Version : ShortReview: Precision M90 3dmark results
bruizar 05-05-2006, 07:02 AM Hello,
I wanted to share the performance of my new config.
1gb 667 mhz
1.83 duocore
512mb Quadro FX 2500 M
60GB 7200 RPM
4609 3D Marks
SM2.0 Score 1948
HDR/SM3.0 1900
CPU score 1491
I am very delighted by this new config. For an editting card its 3dmark performance is really good I think. Some of the videos went on average 20 FPS.
If anyone else has the m90, please post your opinions here!

Hi there,
I'm planning to buy one and since you're an owner i would like to ask you one question...how's the display like?
i own a vaio right now and everything is too bright and can't do any photoshop or painting work and i can't callibrate it either as i only have acess to the brightness control...
are the colours descent on the m90? can u callibrate it? can u do proper painting/photo jobs on it?
thanks

The colors are perfect. If you believe its too bright you can always adjust it by using the FN shortcuts.
Aside from that i can adjust hue saturation adjust color curves brightness/contrast/gamma /digital/vibrance image/sharpening and then save those as presets. The video card allows you to make profiles for all your favorite programs.
There is no mobile workstation i would rather have than this one. I'm perfectly happy with it.

hey bruisar..i just got mine! :+D its a brilliant machine.
any tips on what kind of settings u got...i liked the srgb space but i found that some images on the web are too dark and burned..
the default profile is a bit desaturated... i played with advanced profile and it looks that i got what i wanted...hopefully...
what u got?
have u got digital vibrance on?
thanks a million

i am considering a laptop myself, somewhat stuck between apple and dell. one of my drawbacks with the mac is the ati graphics card. how much does that m90 weigh

it's a big boy with its 17' widescreen... around 4kilos i think. but its considerably 'slim'
i ve already installed the latest games and the play on high quality graphics :wise: and xsi runs great... sweet..
