Also, If you want to use these concepts please feel free to-but please email me the details so that I can check out what is being done with my work! :bounce:

Spider Concept 1
___________________
The actual design is that of a Scientific Research All Terrian Spider Mecha. Lets see you say that 3 times quickly! The actual Mech isnt a War bot but rather just a means to traverse the wasteland that earth has become after 6 meteors bombarded the planet. I was so temped to just cover this thing with Chain Guns, Rocket PODS, Lasers, Anti-personel Guns, Grenade launchers etc, but couldnt, cos this is a Scientific Research Vessel....DAMMIT!

Spider Concept 2
___________________

Having the Cockpit hang down makes it more Defensive than Offensive-looking. It also looks more Insect'y this way, while keeping the whole robot mech thing going.

Gorrila Bot 1
___________________

This is branching away from the whole 'Spider' concept. The GORILLA Mech uses the basic body structure of a gorilla for the frame work-ie, Big fore-arms, smaller back legs, Arms arched inwards etc. The 'head' part consists of camera's and other scanning equipment, while weaopnry covers the shoulders and chest. The cockpit is inside the chest of the Mech, so it is not as exposed as the other cockpits were.

The colouring is just a greyish metal. I find that that is the best way to show off the design, cos adding colour tends to merge the image together.

Im not really happy with the chosen 'Camera' angle, because although it shows the 'Attitude' I wanted (ie-big and strong, but also gentle) it doesnt really show the gorilla body structure

Gorrila Bot 2

This was made to better show the shape/body structure of the GORILLA Mech. I didnt add as much detail (Decals and such) to this one for 2 reasons.

No 1: It is really just to show the shape of the Mech, so small details werent really neccesary, and

No 2 : I chose to go with a more Military Camo style paint, and if this was ment to blend in with its environment having large yellow stripes and big red numbers would make it target practice. Well, thats my reasoning anyhow...

i really like the spider 2 concept!

You can maybe morph it into a ball (like the morphball in metroid prime) for more mobility.

hmm that'll be fun to animate.

Can I model that spider 2 concept?

The spider tanks are pretty cool man. They remind me of this show that used to be on called Shadowraiders or War Planets(depending on what side of the border you're on) They would roll up into a ball for freefall deployment and then the legs and guns would fold out.

I like the design of the first spider tank but i think the second tank is drawn better ie. the number 3 looks kinda wonky on the first one.

I'm not too keen on the gorilla mechs though. I dunno, you opened with the spider tanks which i always find cool (ghost in the shell) and the gorilla ones just pale in comparison.

Otherwise, looking good. Got anymore pics for us or is that all?

I love those spider/mechs, really good design

I think the black shadow on the first spider concept is too present.
