Software: Maya, mental ray, Photoshop, SOFTIMAGE|XSI, ZBrush

This is the Skull baby I did for the latest Tool album 10000 Days. It was from a fantastic collaboration of Alex Grey and Adam Jones... modeled and posed in XSI...exported to Zbrush...then rendered in MAYA/Mentalray.
Color correction and final composite in photoshop.

One of my favourite subjects: skulls and bones ;).

Lovely render. Too bad the baby has a stange back.

you actually worked on the TOOL album cover? woow!:) now, thats a dream come true...!

Superb concept! I think the embryo might benefit from a little more subsurface scattering, a little more luminescence. Still a great image though! Well done.
